Digital Video Objectives

1. Design and assemble pre-production materials for digital film projects.

Pre-Production
Here I have different ways of Pre-Production. I have more that I will be adding but so far this is probably some of the best things I've done, and had fun with!

2. Work in a creative leadership role on a minimum (1) complete film project produced in the production studio courses. Creative leadership roles include director, writer, producer, editor, cinematographer, sound designer, visual effects supervisor, art director, compositing supervisor, production designer, or graphic designer.

Fathers Documentary
This project was all set up by me, to the light, to the camera, to the visuals, to everything! I was proud to show my dad's story here. I wanted it longer but the criteria had to be under five minutes.

Got What Ya Need
For this video I had more of a writing, directing leadership role. My father helped with the camera a bit, but the story was all driven by me.

48 Hour Film Challenge
For this, we had about 6 people but I took charge of the video by being the director. It was a tough couple of days but we prevailed. I was happy with everyone on this project!

3. Create film visuals that exhibit professional quality in terms of camerawork, composition, and lighting.

Scene Edit
This was a well put together video for a class assignment. We wanted to make sure all the shots looked nice. Not much motion either.

 Scene Study
This is a more serious scene with more dramatic shots. This was shot for class and was done multiple times.

48 hour Film Challenge Murphy University
I liked this challenge. There was a lot we did good but some things we didn't. The camera and lighting were spot on. Just wish we could have had music.

4. Integrate composite shots into complete works by employing industry-standard tools and techniques.

Music Video
There were a lot of interesting shots here in this video. One-shot at the end, I made it look like the shots were integrating together. I tried to make it feel as much as a sports video as possible!

Video Animation
Even though this wasn't a long video, I had to make sure the shot was just right for the animation I was filming. And it created this interesting little animation!

150 Sub Trailer
This wasn't intended to be a big video but I liked the shots I produced on this video! Its industry standard for this type of scenario.

5. Edit and color grade digital film projects using industry-standard nonlinear editors and post-production tools.

Interrogation
This is the shot from the video above. I lowered the lighting and added more of a dramatic look to it to fit the interrogation feel.

Action Scene
I made the scene look more orange like an action movie scene. I tried to make it look like a 007 movie.

Blue Scene
I had to make sure I look like I belonged to the animation. I added a lot of tint and blue corrections to make it look real!

Explosion Color
I had an fx explosion go off and
I added correction to the surrounding area to match the explosion tone.

6. Record, edit, and mix high-quality audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and music., which integrated in complete digital film production.

Star Wars Sound
Here Star Wars invades our Earth. I added all of the sound effects to fit all of the chaos on the screen.

Foley Assignment
All of the sound effects in this video were recorded by me. I made all of the foley myself rather than going out and finding sound effects.

Alien World
I made a were mp3 that sounds like an alien world. I recorded all of the sounds and edited them a way to feel like an alien world.
